kerala- gods own country. this is a trip to alleppey, the backwaters of kerala which is called the venice of the east. it is made up of myriad water ways, tiny little slivers of islands connected only by small paddle boats. we stayed in a twin bedroom houseboat with two marvelous cooks and the captain of the boat so to speak. blissfull, calm and serene. all of ya all planning a trip to kerala a stay in a houseboat in the backwaters is a must!!!!!
